Richard Buttery Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2025, Richard Buttery (Essex, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Richard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Richard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his child Mayia Talbot; his parents, Sarah Wink (late James) and Wes St. Jean; his grandparents, Jane, Brian Buttery and Gloria Davidson; his brother Matthew Buttery; his stepsiblings, Sandra (Joel), Jason and Timothy; and his aunt Susan Tohyama (Tsutomu).
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Anglican Church (210 King St E, Harrow, ON N0R1G0).
