He was predeceased by: his sisters, Deborah Tofflemire (Ron), Annette Burling (Donny) and Janet Laporte; and his parents, Everett Laporte and Marguerite Laporte Cox.
He is survived by: his sons, Clinton Laporte (Nicole), Andrew Laporte (Stephanie), Kory Laporte (Brandi) and Dylan Laporte (Melissa); and his brothers, Jerome Laporte (Vickie), Kenneth Laporte (Madonna) and Jerry.
