He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gerda; his children, Joanne Brohman (late Ken), John Van (Laurel) of Bovenkamp, Christine Bechard (Mike) and Marvin Bovenkamp; his grandchildren, Josh, Jordan, Courtney, Jaylin, Tori and Evan; and his siblings, Chris (Ann), Dr. John (Maxine), Bert (Jacky) and Henry (Gerry). He was also cherished by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Kennedy Funeral Home (128 Talbot St N, Essex, ON N8M2C4). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
