He was predeceased by: his brothers, Minoru (Min) and Kiyoshi (Kiyo). He is survived by: his siblings, Isao (Isa), Sakura (Sherry), Takashi (Pepsi), Hiroshi (Peewee) and Midori. He is also survived by his relatives and friends.

After being limited by Alzheimer's, he enjoyed spending time with the family and attending family functions when he was able and occasionally watching his favorite television programs.
