It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catarina (Meilak) Borda of Etobicoke, Ontario, who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Herbert; her children, Felix (Tracy), Peter (Charlene) and Anita (Kevin); her grandchildren, Michael (Carrie-Lynne), Thomas, David (Erika) and Leanna; her great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Adrian, Nicholas and Madison; and her pet Mindy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Arthur B. Ridley Funeral Home (3080 Lake Shore Blvd W, Etobicoke, ON M8V1K3). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (782 Browns Line, Toronto, ON M8W3W2). A burial was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
