She was predeceased by: her brother Valentine; her parents, Rudolf and Albina; her former husband Franc Petrič; her daughter Christine (John); and her husband Ivan Ančimer.

She is survived by: her brother Peter; her children, Betty (Darko), Lenka (John) and Richard (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Madeleine, Lucas, Mikey, Brodie, Ben and Beau; her daughters, Chris, Lenči and Franc; and her stepchildren, Cindy (Justin), Ritchie, Tony and Dave (Lydia). She is also survived by her extended family and friends.
