“My deep condolences to Eugene’s wife and his extended family. I was one of the infamous students who began my high school years with him in class 9A at Parkdale CI. Over five years, we became a very cohesive group, very much like a large family. This became evident at our 2004 reunion, 40 years after graduation. I spent much of that reunion afternoon catching up with Eugene and his impressive accomplishments at U of T. It is unfortunate that it took so long to truly appreciate our classmates.”
