She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Michael Duggan and Mae Duggan; her siblings, Marie and Niall; her children, Christopher and Claire; her grandchildren, David, Liam and Grace; her siblings' children, James, Ciara, Michael and Joseph; and her husband Brian. She was also cherished by her children and grandchildren, her sister and brother and their families, her niece and nephews and many friends.

It wasn't until the onset of Alzheimer's that it became evident that Joan could no longer maintain the level of hospitality that we had all been lucky enough to benefit from.
