She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Jacob Ali and Eldita Ali; her children, Colin (Allison), Jeniffer, Melba and Richard; and her grandchildren, Kevin, Polin-Micaela, Bradford, Nikolai, Natalia, Nikita-Maria, Nathaniel, Joshua, Angelika, Jordana, Antonia, Tsai-Ann, Sienna, Sebastian and Jackson.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be given in memory of Joan Annette Sankar to St. Joseph's Hospice Foundation, London, Ontario, 485 Windermere Road, 3rd Floor, London, Ontario, N5X 2T1 (https://www.sjhospicelondon.com) and would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff that provided such excellent care to her in the last two weeks of her life.".
