She was predeceased by: her husband Laurentius "Lou" Meyer; her parents, Andrew Wilton and Pauline Wilton; and her brothers, Percival and Terence.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pauline and Luanne; her sons-in-law, Terry Warren and Michael Burns; her brother Stafford; and her grandchildren, Bailey Meyer, Samantha, David Miles, Michael Warren and Emma Ridley-Thomas. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Memorial donations in Joy's honour may be made to Dorothy Ley Hospice or Women's Habitat of Etobicoke.
