She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Barylo and Alexandra Barylo (Szpiech). She is survived by: her children, Teresa (Alex Kaklamanos) and Christopher Stawiarski; her sisters, Christine Dow and Diane Foster (Stuart); her niece Danusha Foster-Pengelly (Christian); her nephews, Rob Dow and Brett Foster; and her great-nieces, Kinga and Avalon Foster-Pengelly.
True to her generous spirit, Lorain gave the gift of sight through the donation of her eyes for transplantation, ensuring that even in passing, she continued to help others.
