He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Assunta; his parents, Luciano Paolo and Carmela; and his siblings, Maddalena, Giuseppina, Lorenzina, Saveria and Generosa.

He is survived by: his children, Paul (Tamra Colangelo) of Etobicoke, Carmela Colangelo of Welland, Luigi (Kimberlee Colangelo) of Welland and Maria (Mike Shaw) of Welland; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Martin (Louisa), Zackary (Jenn), Kaylee, Taz and Victoria (Joe).
