He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hoar and Frances Hoar of Mississauga; his wife Christine; and his siblings, Diane and Larry.
He is survived by: his children, Ian (Claudia) and Stephanie (Sean Birch); his stepdaughter Raquel Martinovich; and his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Samantha, Seamus, Massimo, Zoey and Mia.
