With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Elaine Hart in Etobicoke, Ontario, born in Ottawa, Ontario, who passed away on May 9, 2026 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Elaine Hart to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Elmore Carkner and Nora (Schoeder); her husband John Hart; and her daughter Helen Tielen (Peter Tielen). She is survived by: her brother Tom; her sister-in-law Eva; her nephew Peter; her great-niece Katherine; her great-nephew David; her grandchildren, Thomas Tielen, Jennifer Tielen (Victor Penaflor), Heather Tielen (Kashif Morgan) and Nicole Bowler (Ryan Bowler); her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Victoria and Elizabeth Bowler; Kathy Mursic. She is also survived by three children, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter "peel" Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B1M8). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
