He was predeceased by: his wife Georgina Agnes Rogers; and his daughter Norma Leah Lynch. He is survived by: his son Richard Wayne Simms; his children-in-law, William Russel Lynch and Carol Gwiazda; and his brother Harvey Rogers (Mary). He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
