She was predeceased by: her husband John Neevel; her son Henry Neevel; her parents, Gerrit Hengeveld and Dina Hengeveld (Ormel); and her siblings, Trui, Derk and Grada.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Lannin-Neevel, Diane, Ken Turner, Wilma Rosehart, Ron Steensma, Evelyn, Ed Krohe, Richard Neevel, Cindy Wushke, Betty and Clarence Toornstra; her grandchildren, Melissa (Mitch), Ryan (Bethany), Heather (Ian), Kristen (Marshall), Jon (Erin), Mike (Gina), Sarah (Josh), Jason (Mandy), Lisa (Brett), Brooke (Brett), Stacey (Taylor), Jayden (Julia), Ben (Lea), Leanna (Jeff) and Zach (Isis); and her sibling-in-law Rikie Neevel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
