He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Josephson and Louise Josephson; and his siblings, Lorraine and David. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Debbie (Rick Knill), Karla (John Blakley) and David (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Andria (Luke Otten), Derrick, Mark, Andrew, Nathan, Matthew and Ethan; his great grandchild William; and his siblings, Grace (Jack McLaren), Elving (Sandra) and Carolyn (Ed Gibbons). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (40007 Kirkton Rd, South Huron, ON N0M1K0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations to South Huron Hospital Foundation or Emmanuel Baptist Church in Gaylan's memory would be appreciated by the family.
