She was predeceased by: her siblings-in-law, Lorne Gackstetter, James, Shirley Coleman, Sandra and Murray Pepper; her parents, Leonard Brenner and Irma Brenner (McDermott); and her parents-in-law, Francis and Edythe Coleman (McMillan).

She is survived by: her husband Gerald Coleman; her children, Steve, Melissa Coleman, Julie Coleman, Laura and James Anderson; her grandchildren, Eli, Adrianna, Olivia and Zachary; her siblings, Mark (Marie Brenner), Irene Brenner (Jeffrey Honey), Gerald (Paula Brenner) and Marlene (John Cybulsky); her sister-in-law Barbara; and her caregiver Aide. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
