He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen Richards; his children-in-law, Allan Richards and Sandy Hartley; his brother-in-law Arthur Glen; his nephew Greg Skinner; and his parents, Charles Gage and Mary Gage (Tooley).

He is survived by: his spouse Jean Gage (Wilson); his children, Kathy Gage and Kevin Gage (Dora-Lynn); his stepdaughter Carol Brautigam; his sister Patricia Skinner (Lou); and his sister-in-law Diane Glen.
