He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Hogan and Philomene Hogan (Desjardine); his sister Margaret "Marg" Williamson; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Hogan, Shirley Martene, Jack McCann, Bill Inson, Ed Mittelholtz, Bill Dixon, Art Miller and Tony Martene.

He is survived by: his wife Mary G. Hogan (Orr); his stepchildren, Barbara, Tony Fisher of Kemptville, Kathryn Orr and Allen Oesch of Meaford; and his nephew Scott Inson. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 12+ great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations (payable directly) to Canadian Cancer Society; Parkinson Society or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
