He was predeceased by: his wife Marie (McCarter); his son Ron Ferguson; his parents, William Ferguson and Rosenna Ferguson; and his siblings, Norm Ferguson (Ollie), Wilhelmine Jaques (Oliver), Wilmer Ferguson (Peggy) and Raymond McCarter (Anne).

He is survived by: his children, Deb Ferguson (Bill Weiss), Judy, Doug Rohde, Dennis, Jocelyn Ferguson, Barb Ferguson and Mary; his grandchildren, Kristin, Kris, Karen, Kate, Greg, Jennifer, Kalle, Kelly, Dan, Kaylee, Alex, Kassie, Alicia, Tony and Kelsey; and his siblings-in-law, Harold, Ruth Anne Jaques, Charles and Val McCarter.
