Vera Jane (Currie) Armstrong Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Jane (Currie) Armstrong of Exeter, Ontario, born in Mervin, Saskatchewan, who passed away on May 9, 2026 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George Edward "Ned" Armstrong; her parents, Wilfred Currie and Ildegert Currie; her siblings, William, Allan Currie and Helen Scott; and her son Doug Armstrong.

She is survived by: her children, George Armstrong (Deborah) and Barbara McCallum (Steve); and her grandchildren, Matthew Armstrong, Alexa Armstrong and Sammy McCallum.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
