He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, June Bachman and Warren Bachman; his spouse Dana; his children, Sean (Shannon), Mark (Tricia), Lori (Mark) and Jodi (Dave); and his grandchildren, Ceili, Holly, Sam, Shane, Abby, Ava, Brett, Ben and Nate.

“What a shock to hear that George passed away so suddenly. I have known George (and Dana) for over 30 years; often visiting them at Cameron Lake and in Moscow. He was so much fun to be with and always looked after “his ladies” when we went out anywhere with Dana. He could always make my late husband, Gaston laugh with his off beat sense of humour and his wit. I will miss seeing him, giving him a big hug, and chatting with him at the lake.
