He was predeceased by: his parents, James McFarlane and Caroline McFarlane; and his sister Patricia Van Clieaf. He is survived by: his wife Gail McFarlane (Johnson); his sons, Colin (Pam) of Fenelon Falls and Steve (Mary) of North Vancouver; his grandchildren, Mike, Matt, Riley and Adrian; and his great grandchildren, Quinn and Allison.
