Reiner Eugen Leydolt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reiner Eugen Leydolt (Fenelon Falls, Ontario), who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Elizabeth; his children, Markus, Stephan (Heather) and Ryley MacDonald; his siblings, Hans and Christian Leydolt of Austria; his siblings-in-law, Jamie Ramesbottom (Sharon) and Kent Ramesbottom (Lisa); and his nieces and nephews, Andrew Ramesbottom (Jessica), Sean Ramesbottom (Jana), Lauren Ramesbottom, Christoph, Mariella, Pia, Sophie and Nini.

Donations in lieu of flowers in Reiner's name would be appreciated to: Ken Reid Conservation Authority where he enjoyed walking with our dogs, Ross Memorial Hospital which saved his life on more than one occasion, The Nature Conservancy of Canada, or Kawartha Lakes Food Source.

“it was with such great sadness that heard of Reiner's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of times I shared with him and the family, from back porch visits, dinners, camp fires, his life stories to a shoulder to cry on when I needed it, just the best neighbours and friends.. I will remember him fondly and thank heavens that I was lucy enough to have known and loved him.”
