He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Klass DeVries and Wilma DeVries; his wife Ingrid DeVries; his children, Janine Ebeling (Chad), Ashley DeBoer (Melvin), Richard DeVries and Kristen Jansema (Joel); and his siblings, Sylvia Boverhof (Henry), Apie DeVries (Diane), Shirley DeVries, Henry DeVries (Joyce) and Sid DeVries. He was also cherished by several grandchildren, brothers in laws, sisters in laws, and many nieces and nephews.
