It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Ervin Davison (Fergus, Ontario), who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Arnold departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Arnold. Though Arnold may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Davison; his daughters, Kimberley Young and Carolee Bolt (John); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Harper Young, Davis and Lacey Bolt; his brothers, Murray Davison and Wayne Davison (Rosemary); and his brother-in-law Bill Halpenny. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Arnold's memory to the Alzheimer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the Guelph Humane Society.
