In loving memory of Betty Ferguson (Fergus, Ontario), who departed this world on June 16, 2025 at the age of 91. Betty leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sinclair Ross and Elizabeth Ross; and her brother David Ross. She is survived by: her husband Harry Ferguson; and her children, Bruce of Guelph, Linda Bailey (Donald) of Rockwood and Jeffrey of Elora. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. James Anglican Church (171 Queen St E, Fergus, ON N1M2W7). A reception will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 1:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Belsyde Cemetery (400 Thistle St, Fergus, ON N1M, Canada).
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to St. James Anglican Church or Aboyne Rural Hospice or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by Betty's family.
