She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Golightly; and her parents, Art Atkinson and Violet Atkinson. She is survived by: her sisters, Margaret (Don Hutchinson) and Jean Thompson; her children, Warren Golightly (Linda) and Shirley Kurtz; her grandchildren, Jessica (Matthew), Bryce (Ashley), Kyle (Mindy) and Marisa (Corey); her great grandchildren, Austin, Karson, Olivia, Reid, Henry, Charlie, Archer, Ali and Hailey; her brother-in-law Barry Thompson; and her friends, Marion Maine, Isabel Hotson, Zoran, Nevenka Grujic and Keith Roszell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Doreen to the Aboyne Rural Hospice.
