He was predeceased by: his brother Kenny. He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Griffin (Nee Tough); his daughters, Cindy, Sherry and Tammy; and his siblings, Wayne, Jim, Joyce, Irene and Johanne. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, relatives and his friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5). A reception will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at 12 Havesumfun Rd, Fergus, ON N1M2W5.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Canadian Lung Association and Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by Fred's family.
