With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerrit Vis (Fergus, Ontario), who passed away on May 22, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Theresa Vis; his children, Emma (Gary Kroezen), Rick Vis, Henrietta (Ed VanderLaan), Dan (Ang Vis), Gary (Joni Vis), Terrance (Charmaine Vis), Tracey (Jason VanRaalte), Carolyn (Joop Feenstra), Corinne (Kevin VanPykeren), Joanna (Steve DeBoer) and Ben (Sara Vis); his siblings, Jane (Bert Tenhage), Henny (Nick), Mans, Geraldine (Kees), John (Nellie Vis), Anne (Harry VanBodegom), Wilma (Ed VanderVelde), Christine (Gert) and Stieva; and his siblings-in-law, Jake VanLeeuwen, Audrey, Keith Lodder, Hannah, John VanBodegom, Emma, Cor Flokstra, Ann VanLeeuwen, Dan, Janet VanLeeuwen, Bob, Dianne VanLeeuwen, Albert, Sonya VanLeeuwen, Ena, John Post, Simona and Woods.
Due to COVID restrictions there will be a private family-only visitation.
