She was predeceased by: her husband Mac Aitken; her son Rodney; her siblings, Mary Cavers, Elwood Mitchell and Frances Fotheringham; and her parents, Allan Mitchell and Jean Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Victor Aitken (Mary Ellen) and Trina Moore (John); her daughter-in-law Susan Aitken; her brother George Mitchell; her friends, Murray and Liz Johnston; her children, Nina, Rayland, Neil, Madison (Dane), Quentin, Gavin, Natalie, Christopher and Kory (Katja); her grandchildren, Rhett and Nala; her children, Saretta, Oliver and Taylor (Kyle Kaminski); her grandchildren, Carter and Callahan; her child Whitney (Jonathan Royal); her grandchildren, Mallory and Bridget; her daughter Alana (Matthew Picariello); and her grandchild Sienna.
