Helen Isabelle Trask Obituary
In loving memory of Helen Isabelle Trask (Fergus, Ontario), born in Alma, Ontario, who departed this world on May 12, 2025 at the age of 95. Helen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smith and Grace Stewart; her brothers, Earl Smith (late Anita), Howard Smith (late Marg) and Stewart Smith; and her parents-in-law, Mary Gould and Austin Trask (family: Raymond Trask, Joyce, Gordon Montgomery, Allan Trask, Lawrence Trask, Vern, Gail Trask).
She is survived by: her son Milt (Sandra); her grandchildren, Jodi Trask and Michael Trask (Joanna); her great grandchildren, Savannah, Kaylee Blacklock and Jacob Trask; and her sisters, Sherly Weber, Susan Smith, June Trask, Joan Smith, Joan Trask, Margaret (Bert Black) and Shirley (Don Riddell).
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (8 Peel St E, Alma, ON N0B1A0). A burial was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Elora Municipal Cemetery (0365 Wellington Rd 7, Centre Wellington, ON N0B1S0). A reception was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Jefferson Elora Community Centre (29 David St W, Elora, ON N0B1S0).
