He was predeceased by : his parents, Gregg Murray and Pauline Murray of Fergus; his siblings, Richard of Guelph and Jean Connor; and his brother-in-law Edward "Ted" Hawkins of Fergus.

He is survived by : his niece Lesli Schelling of Thunder Bay, ON; his friend Shawn Bursey of St. John's, NL; and also Kim Lesperance of Fergus.
