He was predeceased by : his wife Vanessa. He is survived by : his sons, Adam (Tracy) and Darryl (Katrina); his grandchildren, Nicole (Curtis), Brandyn, Dakota, Dylan, Kierra and Summer; his great grandchildren, Karson, Hazel, Savannah and Mason (Brenda Breunig); and his brother Mike Gerich.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
