He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes; his parents, Harvey and Ellen; and his siblings, Phil and Eileen.
He is survived by: his children, John (Kim), Barry (Patti), Mary Ellen (Vic) and Margie (Tom); his grandchildren, Kevin (Lori), Keith (Jeanette), Derrick (Jodi), Brad, Phillip (Nicole), Nicholas (Evelyn), Christopher, Kory (Katja), Aaron and Lindsay; and his great grandchildren, Jessica, Julia, Ethan, Elizabeth, Kora, Lily, Daniel (Veronika), Rein, Oaklynn, Madison (Dane), Quentin, Rhett, Nala, Gavin and Natalie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (760 St David St N, Fergus, ON N1M2K9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Hospice Wellington in his memory.
