He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Rafferty and Esther Rafferty; and his siblings, John and Lorraine. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his grandchildren, Tyler (Jessica), Vanessa (Joel), Allison Kropf, Emma (Phil), Riley Price (Kailey) and Liam Rafferty; and his sister Esther McElwain (Gary).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church (267 Geddes St, Elora, ON N0B1S0). A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the St. Mary Immaculate and St. Joseph Cemetery (0343 Wellington Rd 7, Centre Wellington, ON N0B1S0). A reception was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Parish (760 St David St N, Fergus, ON N1M2K9).
The family has requested that, in place of flowers, donations be made in Pat's memory to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Foundation or Michael House in Guelph.
