He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Millson and Alice Millson; his parents-in-law, Claude and Betty Haskett of Angus, Ontario.; and his grandson Justin Millson.

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Jackie Mikel (Roger), Norm Kassian (Marissa), Jeremy Millson (Trish) and Sherry Wilson (Tim); his grandchildren, Shaun Kassian, Michael (Jen), Chris Cutting, Brittany, Liam, Elizabeth Mikel, Olivia and Weid Wilson; his siblings, Joyce Rennie (Hubert), Gord Millson (Mary) and Shirley Murphy (Dan); and his siblings-in-law, Rolly Haskett (Marlene), Claudette Stebbings (late John), Paulette Sasco (late Dominic), Janette Wessel (late Mike) and Barbara Carruthers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
