Mary Elizabeth Ralston-Thompson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2025, at the age of 62, Mary Elizabeth Ralston-Thompson (Fergus, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Bob; and her brother Scott. She is survived by: her husband Pete; her daughters, Tommara McMillan (Chris) and Kelsey Ferriss (Josh); her grandchildren, Natalie, Nolan McMillan, Kody and Abigail Ferriss; her mother Dianne; and her brothers, Tom and Robert. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and countless friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elora Municipal Cemetery (365 Wellington Rd 7, Elora, ON N0B1S0). A reception was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5).

In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for memorial donations to Hospice Wellington in Guelph, in recognition of the compassionate care provided.
