She was predeceased by : her parents, Eleanor Saunders and James Saunders. She is survived by : her husband Larry Dumas; her child Skylar Dumas (Michelle); and her siblings, Vanessa Wallace (Ron), Eric Saunders (Karla Pearce), Martin Saunders and Paul Saunders (Trynne Leveque).

Memorial contributions may be made in Mary-Ellen's honour to Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
