He is survived by: his wife Sheila Rose Turnnidge; and his children, Steve Turnnidge, Penny Maxwell (Dave Whalley), Simon Turnnidge (Nadine) and Caroline Mouawad (Tony). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, along with extended family and many friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Parish (760 St David St N, Fergus, ON N1M2K9). A reception will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fellowship and Refreshments (110 Belsyde Ave E, Fergus, ON N1M1Z5).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
