He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Vaclav and Vlasta; and his sister Vlasta. He is survived by: his wife Jana; his children, Tom (Janice), Andy (Chantal) and Chris; his grandchildren, Richard, Jared (Michelle), Brooke (Riley) and Cameron; and his niece Vendy Hejčlová.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Graham A Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5). A burial was held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the St. Peter's Mission Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice Wellington or Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, ON.
