He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Elliott Ashton (Elliott) and Rosella Marguerite Price (Rose); his close friend Norah; his daughter-in-law Donna; and his brother-in-law Don Foster.

He is survived by: his friend Moe; his uncle Moe; his granddaughter Kristi; his pet Hawks; his significant other Norah Ellen Foster; his family, Kevin James and Craig Scott; his sons, Kevin of Goderich, ON and Craig (Guy) of Collingwood; his son-in-law Alan Hood of Orangeville, ON.; his sister-in-law Sharon Foster; his granddaughter Katie Oblak (Marty) of Tobermory, ON; his great grandchildren, Ashton, Ella and Callen; and his daughter Kristi Hood.

Donations to Golden Triangle Humane Society, Hospice Georgian Triangle and My Friends House – Crisis Support for Women and Children would be appreciated in memory of Moe.
