She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gerry Hoorn and Hendrika Van Hoorn; her sisters, Mary (John) and Terra (John); her husband Joseph; her children, Jennifer (Marc), Marysa (Anthony), Nathanael (Jenna), Peter (Toni-Rose) and Mark; her grandchildren, Gabriel, Noah, Loïc, Joseph, Kate and Nicholas; Tony (Maxine), Elizabeth, Paul (Leanna), Christopher and Edward (Pam).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5). A vigil service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church (267 Geddes St, Elora, ON N0B1S0). A burial was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Mary Immaculate and St. Joseph Cemetery (0343 Wellington Rd 7, Centre Wellington, ON N0B1S0). A reception was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Elora Royal Canadian Legion Branch 229 (110 Metcalfe St, Elora, ON N0B1S0).
