He is survived by: his wife Laurie Hurst; his son Jason Hurst (Andrea) of Belwood; his grandsons, Joseph and Blake; his daughter Melissa (Ben Cornwell) of Kisbey; his grandson Roy; his great grandchild Bradley Hurst (MattiLynn) of Westlock; his siblings, Jeff Hurst (Ann) of Teeswater and Deborah Kaufman (Wayne) of Port Elgin; his siblings-in-law, Heather Horn of Listowel, Paul Horn (Tammy) of Gowanstown and Jennifer; ShaeLynn, Karsyn and Stetson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate charitable donation to the Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, or a charity of one's choice.
