Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Sandra; his mother Sarah; his son-in-law Wayne; and his wife Nellie Worthington. He is survived by: his daughter Doreen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wellington Terrace LTC in Fergus, where he received exceptional care.
