Robert Proctor Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Proctor (Fergus, Ontario), who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Proctor and Isabella Proctor; his wife Annie Proctor; his sons, Bruce and Brian Proctor; his son-in-law Don Creary; and his sisters, Mary Walser and Isabel Fitzpatrick.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Proctor (Judy) and Cathy Creary; his brother James Proctor (Georgie); and his grandchildren, Jeremy Creary, Angela Creary, Ashley Beyer (Kyle), Jessica Proctor and Bobbie Proctor. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Elora Legion Branch 229 (110 Metcalfe St, Elora, ON N0B1S0).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Elora Legion and Caressant Care Fergus would be appreciated.
