It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Maxwell Black (Fergus, Ontario), who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Maxwell Black to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bud (Olive), Bill (Arnetta), Hugh (Florence), Jim (Peggy), Gordon (Glenna) and Walter; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Jackson, Ben Hansen and Leon Russell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bert Black (Marg), Jean Jackson and Isabel; and his family, Don, Asenth Herbison and Beatty Line. He is also survived by extended family, FGEC students, caregivers and nurses.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
