With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shawn Elviss (Fergus, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shawn left this world on July 10, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa Elviss and Thomas Elviss. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Elviss (Nee Scherer); his sons, Justin (Amanda) and Jeremy (Sherri); his grandchildren, Hannah and Ben; and his brothers, Ty and David.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by Shawn's family.
