She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Emmans and Winifred Emmans; her brother Peter; her husband Rodney; her children, Colin, Craig (Heather) and Alison (Kevin); her granddaughters, Riley, Megan and Kelsey; and her great grandchildren, Grant, Charles, Andersen and Damiano.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5). A reception was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. James Anglican Cemetery (4339 Huron Rd, Wilmot, ON N3A3E3).
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Groves Memorial Community Hospital would be appreciated by Valerie's family.
